Do Indians need an ETA Kenya?

Yes. To be able to enter the country, it’s mandatory to have a Kenya ETA for Indians, which can be easily applied for online.

  • Having a valid passport. It must have a validity of at least 6 months from the date you enter in Kenya and at least one blank page for stamps.

Is it possible to get the Kenya ETA on arrival for Indians?

No, the Kenya ETA on arrival stopped being issued by the government on January 1, 2021. Now, all travelers, including Indian citizens, have to apply for the Kenya visa online. 

Applying online has a lot of advantages. You won’t be exposed to the inconvenience of seeing your application for the ETA Kenya visa on arrival rejected, forcing you to return to India at once. It also saves you the waiting time and long queues you could expect at the airport.

How much does the Kenya ETA for Indians cost?

The cost of the Kenya ETA for Indians will change according to the type of travel authorization you’re applying for. The government and processing fees will be higher or lower depending on the validity and length of stay of the visa. 

You can expect to pay higher fees for multiple-entries visas for Kenya, as well as those who are valid for longer. On the other hand, single-entry and transit visas cost less, but you will be able to stay for a shorter period of time.
